I relate to Travis because I don't see the struggle but yet sometimes it come to a point of time where I have to wait for some things when I want it at that moment but I still get it

When the play opens, Mama, the sixty-year-old mother of the family, is waiting for a $10,000 insurance check from the death of her husband, and the drama will focus primarily on how the $10,000 should be spent.I can Relate, last summer I lost my Granddaddy ,and he's insurance check came up to $856,000 ,but my Family ,and I had no idea how to send the money.

In the novel, "A Raisin in the Sun", by Lorraine Hansberry, I can relate to Mama. I can relate to Mama because she cares about her family not the money. Also, she does everything she can to keep her family all in one piece.
In this story I see the conflict between Walter, Ruth, and Benetha about income and how weak it is.
later in the story benetha gets upset because Ruth is pregnate and Benetha knows that they cant afford to have another child
This is an awesome book. I think the play was also amusing. But, this is not the best book I have ever read. It's up in the top 20. :-)
